President

Arthur Dunnam graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington Virginia and later, from the Graduate Interior Design program at Pratt Institute in New York City. After graduation, Arthur worked with the legendary Billy Baldwin, exposing him to some of the most noteworthy residences in the world.

In 1987, he joined Jed Johnson Studio in New York City. For the next ten years, he worked alongside Jed whose generosity of spirit permitted Arthur to grow as a designer and allowed him to develop close relationships with their clients.

Arthur’s projects have appeared on the covers and within the pages of Architectural Digest, House & Garden, House Beautiful, and Metropolitan Home, as well as in several monographs.

Arthur continues to collaborate with esteemed partners such as Robert A.M. Stern Architects, Schafer Buccellato Architects, Frank Greenwald Architect, and many other noted architects. Based in New York City, Arthur has designed homes in Big Sur, Mustique, The Bahamas, Martha’s Vineyard, Palm Beach, Lake Michigan, Rancho Santa Fe, Scottsdale, Aspen, Vail, and Chicago as well as The Hamptons, New York, and Connecticut.

Kelly Zerbini

Principal

Upon graduating from The University of Cincinnati’s highly acclaimed College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning with a major in interior design, Kelly moved to New York City for an internship at the venerable Clodagh Design—this would be her entrée into the world of high-end and luxury residential design. After her internship at Clodagh, Kelly went to work full-time for Eric Cohler Design. Dubbed the “mixmaster,” Eric mentored Kelly on the art of fusing classic and contemporary elements.

In 2010, Kelly became a project manager at Jed Johnson Associates—working alongside Arthur Dunnam. It wasn’t long before the two realized they were natural collaborators and have since executed projects in New York City, Connecticut, Long Island, Michigan, South Florida, and the Bahamas.

After 14 years, Kelly was named partner and principal designer of Dunnam Zerbini Design, creating spaces that exude a certain luxurious warmth.

“Homes need to have layers of color and texture coupled with an adventurous eye,” says Kelly. “Pieces both new and old function as conversation starters.” Perhaps the floor lamp is made from a fallen walnut tree found in upstate New York, or the sculpture was discovered at a flea market on vacation, she says. “My goal is to give each client that surprise piece they never would have thought they’d like, but now can’t live without.”

Bill Pimley

Senior Designer

Bill Pimley has been working alongside Kelly and Arthur since 2013 as an active member of the Jed Johnson design team. His role has developed over the years from design assistant to project coordinator to senior designer. He honed his skills at the Rhode Island School of Design studying interior architecture. Moving to New York City post graduation, Bill began his professional career at Bachman Brown Design, headstarting the budding firm at the time. On the weekends, he finds inspiration in the Hudson Valley, Cape Cod, and Maine where he frequents.

Ryan Lacy has been an integral member of the team alongside Kelly, Arthur, and Bill since 2017.
